This 3kW solid-state Trumpf neodimium doped yttrium aluminum garnet (Nd:YAG) laser is used for a wide range of laser processing applications, and can be connected to the Fanuc M16i robot or the LENS(TM) system. This laser is coupled to a 60micron diameter fiber for transfer of photon energy to the optics and processing head. This laser can be easily fitted with customized optics and processing heads, for a given application. In the past, this laser has been used for Laser Power Deposition (LPD), welding, brazing, and cutting.
